Rosaiah faced strong protest from within the party as the son of former CM (YSR) of the state and Congress MP Jagan Mohan Reddy with his supporter showed consistent resistant against Rosaiah.

The protest touched the heights when Jagan owned TV channel Sakshi on Nov 19 broadcasted programme, which had objectionable remarks against Congress President Sonia Gandhi and PM Manmohan Singh.

Michael Brea Suspected of Decapitating Mother with a Samurai Sword

Michael Brea, a small-time actor who once appeared on Ugly Betty, has been taken into custody for allegedly chopping off the head of his mother with a samurai sword.

According to police reports, cops arrived to an "extremely bloody" scene at Brea's Brooklyn home around 2:20 this morning and found the actor holding a bible. They had to subdue him via taser.

A neighbor recounted events, as he/she heard them, to WPIX 11: "I hear [Brea] chasing [his mother] through the house and he's just saying a bunch of [Bible] passages like, 'Repent, Repent, Repent.' I heard him chasing her through the house and I heard a loud scream and so I have my father call the cops."

The victim was found with her head sliced off. At the moment, Brea is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation and then will be handed over to the NYPD.

Vince Young Meltdown

Young’s agent claimed then that the story about the possible emotional problems Young has been blown out of proportion, but still the incident two years ago should have been in the back of some heads of his teammates, as the young left the stadium.

Von Maur plans Joliet store, won't open in New Lenox

A news by yahoofreeshop:Von Maur has signed a letter of intent to open a store at a proposed mega-mall in Joliet, while the upscale department store chain has decided against a store at a proposed center in nearby New Lenox.

The Davenport, Iowa-based chain is planning a two-story, 150,000-square-foot Von Maur that would be a key anchor for the massive Bridge Street Town Centre in Joliet. The proposed $1-billion development at the northeast corner of interstates 80 and 55 is to include 1.7 million square feet of retail along with hotels, housing and some office buildings.

"We feel like we can really make this a regional store," James von Maur, president of the family-owned retailer, says in an interview. "As our momentum picked up with Joliet, our momentum with New Lenox waned ... I feel like the Joliet location will be able to serve those customers because of the easy access from I-80."

The decision comes as a big blow for the Birches of New Lenox, a 1.1 million-square-foot mall proposed by Cleveland-based Forest City Enterprises Inc. Because of the slowdown in the retail and housing markets, the mall's opening was already pushed back a year to 2011.

A local developer working with Forest City on the project had said Von Maur had agreed to purchase its site there. But Mr. von Maur says the retailer never signed a letter of intent for the Birches project, and never had a binding contract there.

A Forest City spokeswoman and local executive didn't return calls seeking comment.

Mr. von Maur says the company remains "very much committed" to another big, proposed Will County mall: The Shops at the Polo Club in Plainfield. Sources say the retailer has a lease at the proposed 628,000-square-foot center, but that the project's developer has few other leases signed and could lose Von Maur if it doesn't get enough other retailers on board soon.

A spokeswoman for the Polo Club developer, Memphis, Tenn.-based Poag & McEwen, said in an e-mail, "Our deal with Von Maur is firm. They have a totally binding commitment with us." The mall's opening was pushed back to spring 2010 from fall 2009.

Mr. von Maur acknowledged that the retailer's contract with Poag has certain leasing benchmarks the developer must meet, but he declined to provide details.

Von Maur has three stores in Chicago. Its first location here, in the Yorktown shopping center in Lombard, opened in 1994 and is the top-grossing store among Von Maur's 22 locations, which are scattered throughout the Midwest.

The ambitious Bridge Street project is to break ground early next year and open in 2010, Beverly Hills, Calif.-based developer O&S Holdings LLC says. O&S has also previously announced an 18-screen Regal Cinema has agreed to open at the center.

"Getting Von Maur was critical," says O&S co-founder Gary Safady.

Mr. von Maur says the stores in Joliet and Plainfield would be closer together than is typical for department stores, but that he believes both can prosper.

"We think the area around there is really going to fill in," he says. "Chicago is growing so fast."

Of course, there's also a chance that only one of the projects will come to fruition — particularly considering the retail market and struggling economy. Even if both do materialize, Von Maur could still opt to open just one of the locations, says John Melaniphy, president of Melaniphy & Associates Inc., a Chicago-based retail site consultancy.

"I think it's unlikely that both will happen," Mr. Melaniphy says. "They're too close together. It's going to come down to where the specialty stores go. . . .Von Maur will go where they go."

Eva Longoria Tweets 'Great Sadness' Over Divorce From Tony Parker

Report: 'Twist of Kate' on the Chopping Block

According to a TLC rep, the next Kate Plus 8 special airs on November 28 with a Sarah Palin show lead-in AND that they're keeping Twist of Kate on the schedule. Who knows, maybe there exists enough Kate Gosselin interest to support two reality shows. And then again, maybe there's not.

A June 22, 2009 episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 brought in 10.6 million viewers (impressive numbers for a cable reality show), where the most recent episode of Kate Plus 8 pulled in just over a million viewers.

In the business of show, this is not good.

Meanwhile, in other Kate Gosselin-related news, PopEater's Rob Shuter reported yesterday that Gosselin is blowing through cash like an A-lister. A source told Shuter:

Kelly Osbourne Lives in Fear of Getting Cancer Like Her Mother

The 26-year-old star has convinced herself she is going to get the disease since her mother Sharon was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2002.

Kelly said: “I'm absolutely convinced that I'm going to get cancer. I go to the doctor at least once a week for a B12 shot, because B12 is really good at building your immune system and keeping you healthy.”

The blonde beauty also went on to speak about how her mother is a brave and inspirational woman, and she got a hug from Sharon, 58, afterward.

Kelly -- whose father is rocker Ozzy Osbourne =- added: “People automatically assume that once you're in the public eye, everything's amazing and your life has always been amazing because you're in Hollywood, but, you know, my mum has had the hardest life you could ever imagine.

“Going through that makes you realize that at the end of the day, all you have is your family.”

Sharon was given a 33 per cent chance of recovery when she was diagnosed with the disease after doctors discovered the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes.

But she beat the illness and went on to found The Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program at Los Angeles' Cedars Sinai Medical Center........

John Travolta Says Hollywood Is Friendlier Than Ever Before

A news by yahoofreeshop:John Travolta used to think Hollywood studios "intimidating and threatening," but now he believes people in the film industry want to see their peers succeed.

He said: "Hollywood is more friendly now than it's ever been. When I started out in the 70s, the business side of Hollywood was dominant.

"Books on the techniques of business intimidation were really popular at the time. I forget the titles now, but they were all about intimidation and making a person feel threatened so they could be manipulated.

"The artists were made to feel insecure, the studios got more powerful and no one wanted each other to do well. Those were the old days.

"I don't find that now: artists hang out with other artists, and the business people no longer rely on intimidation as a part of their modus operandi."

The actor also revealed he believes in karma and always tries to treat people the way he would like to be treated.

Travolta told GQ India: "I do believe that what goes around comes around, but I also believe that you create your own destiny. I've noticed in my life that karma is instant: whatever's coming to me, I get back right away. Yet, I notice that with other people there are delays. I find that interesting....

The model-and-actress played secret agent Vanessa Kensington opposite the title character, portrayed by Mike Myers, in the hit 1997 comedy movie and one person still watching it is eight-year-old Damian.

She wrote on her Twitter page: My son's fave film is Austen Powers-he used to idolize Vanessa Kensington but has switched allegiance to the Fembots.”

Although she has a big fan in her house, Elizabeth -- who lives on a farm in South West England, with Damian and her husband Arun Nayar -- she is having trouble keeping her dogs happy.

The 45-year-old brunette beauty has several Labradors, but her favorite mutt Raja is unhappy with her because she has been away from home so much, while her pooch Emily is doing some strange things......
