AMC Walking Dead
A news by 4usnews:Do you like comics? You like zombies? Do you like TV? If you answered “Yes.” to these three questions, then you’re in luck! AMC’s version of “Walking Dead” Robert Kirkman just might be your new favorite show!
For those of you who may not be familiar (and shame on you if you do not!) On a monthly title of the image, it focuses on the survivors of a zombie outbreak and their daily struggle to maintain a sense of life and order among the chaos a new and deadly world.
I’ve been following this title since it began and more than overjoyed to learn that he comes to life on AMC. This network is still pumping out hit after hit, and this show is no exception. AMC is not afraid to go beyond the limits as far as content, and this show delivers in abundance. The pilot episode follows the first three questions to the TA, not only in good faith to comply with the source material, but it also extends it. Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes down in the line of duty, and falls into a coma. When he wakes up he is in the new world. A world where the dead live and feed on living. Rick runs a hospital and meet two survivors, a father and son, who camped in the house of his former neighbors. Through them he learns about what happened during the coma. Rick decides to go to Atlanta in the last attempt to reach his wife and son.
I’m not going to go into details here as I feel like a show needs to be seen, not explained. If you like comedy you’ll love the show. The pilot episode only has four “live” characters: Rick, his partner, Shane, and the Father and the Son. At the end of the episode we meet a few more minor characters, but not for long. Actors match well the comic characters and show goes to a great start. If I have anything to complain about it can go. I feel that the episodes are being drawn out too long compared tothe comic . The first episode ended about midway through the first trade paperback: “Days Gone By”. Today I just finished Volume 9: “Here we are still, if you’re with me, or in the past, then you know why I’m a little disappointed! This show has only scratched the surface of a story that is very deep. If I was a spoiler like-minded people this will be the part where I gush about how much I can not wait to see when the part … .. Oh, you just have to wait. Or go out and start collecting and trading of individual questions! Bottom line: a great start! What say you....?
